AIM

To develop skills of managers and team leaders.


PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

This comprehensive programme is designed to equip managers and leaders with the skills to excel in their roles. Fifteen modules, which range from increasing the effectiveness of interpersonal skills to managing performance and business fundamentals, can be run over time frame to suit the organisation (usually six months) and can be adapted to meet the specific requirements of an organisation. The programme focuses on practical workshops with a strong bias on participation, individual assessment as well as group activities and discussions. The programme includes exercises relevant to individual organisations as well as skills practice and action planning. Each workshop is reviewed with consolidation and extension as appropriate.

Module 3. Prioritisation and planning - one day
Module 4. Effective working relationships - one day
Module 5. Team theory and practice - one day
Module 6. Managing change - one day
Module 7. Presenting yourself effectively at meetings. Preparation for presentation - one day
Module 8. Presentation and evaluation - one or two days
Module 9. Building a high performance team - one day
Module 10. Achieving results through effective leadership - one day
Module 11. Communicating for impact - one day
Module 12. Success through coaching - one day
Module 13. Managing performance - one or two days
Module 14. People skills for managing performance - one day
Module 15. Business fundamentals - one day
