AIM

To inform delegates of the relevant acts which contribute to Equal Opportunities: Race Relations Act, Sex Discrimination Act, Disability Discrimination Act. To increase awareness of harassment in the workplace and suggest strategies which can discourage harassment


PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

This programme discusses the implications of Equal Opportunities legislation and examines the issues which make harassment in the workplace an important concern for management and staff. Having the appropriate knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation enables participants to consider their own companies, reflect on any areas of concern and consider what needs to be done in order to adhere to company policy on equal opportunities and anti-harassment in the workplace
