This programme is designed to help participants apply clear guidelines for the successful preparation, conduct and follow-up of a selection interview. It is also designed to enable participants to practise the appropriate skills and receive feedback for future development.

• Understanding employment legislation: race, sex and disability discrimination acts.

• Understanding and applying appropriate question techniques.

>> Using professional interviewing skills: questions, listening, note-taking and non-verbal cues.
>> PR issues – selling the organisation
>> Assessing and recording the facts.
• DAY TWO PRACTICAL SESSION
• Individual attention
• Personal style
• Putting it into practice: role play
• Difficult situations
